Às vésperas do Dia da Vitória, uma das datas mais simbólicas do calendário político russo, o presidente da Ucrânia, Volodymyr Zelensky, elevou o tom contra o Kremlin e acusou Moscou de usar o cessar-fogo anunciado para as celebrações de 9 de maio como instrumento político.
Em pronunciamento divulgado nesta quinta-feira (7/5), Zelensky afirmou que a “lógica da liderança russa é estranha e definitivamente inadequada”. E criticou o pedido de aliados de Moscou para que representantes estrangeiros compareçam às cerimônias na capital russa.
A fala ocorre em meio ao anúncio do Ministério da Defesa da Rússia de um cessar-fogo temporário entre 8 e 10 de maio, período em que o país celebra os 81 anos da derrota da Alemanha nazista na Segunda Guerra Mundial.
Mais cedo, Moscou reiterou a suspensão temporária das operações militares por ordem do presidente Vladimir Putin.
Kiev, no entanto, reagiu com desconfiança. Segundo Zelensky, a Ucrânia havia proposto uma trégua anteriormente, inclusive em 6 de maio, mas recebeu “novos ataques russos e novas ameaças” como resposta.

Kremlin sob tensão
A tensão cresce justamente no momento em que o Kremlin vive um cenário descrito por serviços de inteligência europeus como de “extrema ansiedade”. Relatório divulgado pelo portal investigativo russo Vazhnyye Istorii (Histórias Importantes, em tradução livre) aponta que o entorno de Putin teme conspirações internas, vazamentos e até possível tentativa de assassinato.
Neste ano, o tradicional desfile militar do Dia da Vitória acontece sob medidas inéditas de segurança e sem parte do armamento pesado normalmente exibido na Praça Vermelha, em Moscou.
Negociações de paz
O presidente ucraniano também confirmou a continuidade das negociações com representantes do presidente dos Estados Unidos, citando Steve Witkoff e Jared Kushner.
